Description

This training is designed for school leadership teams or founding teams seeking to build an organization capable of sustaining both its educational mission and its teams' engagement over the long term.

In many mission-driven organizations, day-to-day effectiveness relies heavily on the personal commitment of highly dedicated individuals operating in a very demanding environment. While this generosity is a significant asset, it can also conceal organizational weaknesses such as unclear responsibilities, chronic overload, ineffective delegation, decision-making that is too centralized, or a lack of space for perspective and reflection.

Over time, these imbalances can weaken both individual well-being and the long-term sustainability of the project itself.

This program offers participants a practical framework and concrete tools to understand how organizational design influences engagement, motivation, and teams' ability to thrive over time.

Participants are invited to adopt a systemic perspective on their organization in order to identify the factors that support or hinder each person's ability to contribute in a healthy, sustainable, and meaningful way.

Through a combination of theoretical input, self-assessment exercises, and collective intelligence workshops, participants explore several key dimensions of sustainable organizational health: role clarity, shared responsibilities, priority setting, decision-making processes, subsidiarity, recognition practices, alignment between the organization's values and its internal practices, as well as the establishment of rhythms that encourage rest, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Each module combines conceptual understanding, analysis of existing practices, and the development of solutions tailored to the participants' specific contexts.

The overall objective is to help organizations move from a model based primarily on individual commitment to one that collectively supports the educational mission over the long term.

Participants leave with a shared diagnosis of how their organization functions, concrete areas for improvement, and an action plan to strengthen the clarity, resilience, and sustainability of their organization.

Objectifs de la formation

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the organizational factors that support or weaken sustainable engagement within their teams.
  • Analyze tensions related to the distribution of roles, decision-making processes, and team dynamics.
  • Clarify responsibilities, priorities, and modes of collaboration within their organization.
  • Understand the principle of subsidiarity and apply it to promote autonomy, ownership, and accountability among members of the educational team.
  • Align leadership practices and team functioning with the school's educational mission and core values.
  • Develop practices that foster recognition, motivation, and talent development.
  • Design organizational systems that protect individual resources and support long-term engagement.
  • Create a concrete action plan to strengthen and evolve their school's organizational structure.

Overall, the training aims to help participants move from an organization based primarily on individual dedication to one that is collectively structured to support the educational mission over the long term.

The teaching approach is systemic, participatory, and solution-oriented, with each module combining concepts, reflection, and practical application.

Moyens et supports pédagogiques

The educational contributions are supported by content delivered during the session, live exchanges and resources related to theoretical presentations, case studies and role-playing exercises. Participants also benefit from the feedback and experience shared throughout the training.
